Fruit and cheese: You can grab an apple, cut it up and put in a baggy along with 1-2 ounces of cheese adding about a quarter cup of walnuts. You can pre make a baggie full for both you and your children making it easy to take with you if you are running late. This is perfect to make up the night before, so you are ready to go in the morning. The only thing you need to do is open your refrigerator, grab your healthy breakfast and off you go. This is an awesome healthy breakfast idea.

Whole grain waffle with Peanut Butter:  This is another healthy breakfast idea, instead of using syrup or butter, spread about two tablespoons of peanut butter on a waffle. You can put raisins or sesame seeds on top for more fiber. This is an easy healthy breakfast that is quick and can easily be eaten in the car on the way to school or work. By using peanut butter rather than syrup or butter, this will add the protein you need for a quick, healthy breakfast.

Whole wheat bagel with hummus, tomato and cucumber: Hummus is a great form of protein. Instead of using butter just spread hummus on your bagel, place slices of a tomato and cucumber on top and you have the perfect healthy breakfast idea. Easy, quick and healthy.

Breakfast Pizza: Cut a whole wheat English muffin in half, place a thin slice of Canadian bacon, fresh tomato slice and approximately 2 tablespoons of part-skim mozzarella cheese in between. Bake in oven or toaster oven on 350 degrees for approximately 8-10 minutes until cheese is melted. You can place in oven for the last 8-10 minutes before you leave and finish putting your makeup on or do your last minute thing before you walk out the door. Turn your oven off, grab your breakfast pizza and off you go with the next healthy breakfast idea.

Healthy Breakfast Parfait: ¾ cup low fat plain yogurt (you can use cottage cheese if you prefer). Use 1 cup pineapple/papaya chunks or cling peaches. Add 2 teaspoons toasted wheat germ.

Apple Peanut butter and chocolate nachos: Slice your favorite apple in 32 thin slices, arrange apple slices on a plate. Melt 1/4 cup smooth peanut butter and drizzle over every slice of apple. Now, melt ¼ cup of dark chocolate chips and repeat the same thing you did with the peanut butter. Top with a handful of chocolate chips all over the apple nachos as a nice topping addition.
